World Book Online for Kids was developed especially for young public library patrons. The site offers easy-to-read articles and a wealth of engaging multimedia, games, science projects, interactive tools, and activities.
World Book Online Info Finder contains content and features designed for school-aged patrons’ homework and research needs. Based on the World Book Encyclopedia, the site features rich collections of multimedia on a variety of topics, science fair projects; a Biography Center; links to world newspapers, correlations to curriculum standards, 21st century research guides, and much more.
World Book Online Reference Center is a powerful reference tool for advanced researchers and information seekers. The site features thousands of e-books, tens of thousands of articles, and hundreds of thousands of primary source documents and features developed especially for public library patrons such as Computer and Web Tutorials, How To... documents, and Government Resources.
World Book Discover, for differentiated instruction, includes reference articles, text-to-speech capabilities, learning and life skills activities, research tools, multimedia, and interactive video.
Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos offers World Book’s excellent editorial content, rich media, and interactive features in Spanish. The Early World of Learning offers a wealth of resources to help preschoolers and children in the early grades grasp critical early childhood themes while developing reading and oral language skills.
The Early World of Learning uses narrated stories with word-by-word highlighting, interactive games, interactive reference material for beginners, and more to help young learners build vocabulary, comprehension, phonics, and reading fluency.

Ask Here PA is Pennsylvania's new statewide live chat reference service and is a free service to all residents of Pennsylvania, offering live chat reference 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  When you have a question that you need answered quickly, visit Ask Here PA.  In most cases, you will get your answer in 15 minutes or less. Access PA Power Library

The POWER library allows you to access thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You will find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.  The site includes the following services:  Sirs Discoverers, Readers Guide Select and AP Images. Audio To Go / Electronic Audio Books and Ebooks

With our digital library, patrons can browse, check out, and download digital audio books and eBooks anytime of day from anywhere in the world.  Available 24/7, now your library is always open!

Click on the download audiobooks and eBooks button to the left to access the library's digital audio collection and the eBook collection. Check the "supported portable eBook device" page for compatibility. Sony Readers, Nooks and Kindles are compatible eBook readers.   GO >

Download your audiobook selections to your PC to use, or transfer to a compatible portable device for use on-the-go. You can download audiobooks using your Library card. It's quick, easy and you can do it anytime!  When the lending period is up your digital books are automatically returned — so there are never any late fees!
