Thanks to the generosity and support of Whitemarsh residents Nicholas and Athena Karabots, and the Karabots Foundation, the library offers a state-of-the-art facility within a nearly 66 percent larger footprint.
In recognition of the Karabotses’ $4.4 million gift, the library’s name now will include the designation “Karabots Center for Learning.” Indeed, the Jeanes Library is at the center of Whitemarsh Township, and within its walls it continues to nurture a love of learning.
Closing early on Wednesday, May 23rd
We apologize for the inconvenience, but the Library will be closing at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23. Please visit earlier that day, or stop by the next day when regular hours will resume.
